Custom orthotics are personalized shoe inserts designed to address foot issues and enhance support, stability, and alignment for the feet, ankles, and lower limbs. Unlike mass-produced inserts, custom orthotics are tailored to an individual's foot structure, biomechanics, and specific needs.

To obtain custom orthotics, a consultation with a healthcare professional, is necessary. Through a detailed examination, including foot shape, arch height, and gait pattern analysis, the provider creates a custom mold of the feet. These molds inform the fabrication of orthotic inserts, which are crafted to fit the unique contours of the individual's feet.

Custom orthotics can be made from various materials, such as rigid plastics or soft foams, to address specific requirements. They offer targeted support and cushioning, redistributing pressure and reducing strain on muscles, tendons, and joints.

Prescribed for conditions like flat feet, plantar fasciitis, or sports injuries, custom orthotics alleviate pain, enhance stability, and prevent further issues. They are a vital component of comprehensive treatment plans, complementing interventions like stretching exercises and physical therapy.

I was raised in Abbotsford since moving from the Philippines when I was 6 years old. I am proud to call this community home after all these years. Sports has been a big part of my life and I wanted to continue with that connection with sports as I got older. I have played football for almost 21 years and counting. Ranging from high school to the Canadian Junior Football League to now touch football on weekends. I also play tennis and have recently picked cycling as a new hobby. Having been in sports for so many years I have met a lot of Chiropractors. That is why I made the decision to become a Chiropractor. I graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with my Bachelor of Kinesiology and then went to the University of Western States in Portland where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science as well as my Doctor of Chiropractic.

As a chiropractor I look at the body as a whole. We have always been told that everything is connected, and that statement definitely is true. I work a lot of the soft tissues the move our body as well as adjusting the many bones that hold our body together. I use many techniques to work on soft tissues such as Cupping, Pin and stretching, and massage. I can adjust the spine or other parts of the body manually or mobilize the joints depending on patient preference.
